How to Setup and Edit a Schedule
We have some articles that go into detail on how to add or edit a schedule and one that also provides a video of the creation of a schedule. For a detailed breakdown, you can view this article.
Scheduled Event dates
When creating scheduled events in L2L you have a few options to set for various event dispatch dates. These dates not only impact the way the event launches but also how it's viewed within the system when it does launch. Click here to see a detailed view of the various functions and descriptions.
Scheduler Calendar
Under the scheduler menu next to All Schedules, you will see a calendar icon, this will allow you to see and print scheduled events in a calendar view. Check out this article for more information.
Resource Calendar
The Resource Calendar is located in the drop-down menu of the Work Order module and can be used to schedule work from the Scheduler (like PMs) and from the Work Order module to Resources. This calendar has the capability to pull all jobs, including current reactive work, PMs, and Work Orders, into one screen, so you can see the workload and schedule the resources to complete those jobs. Check out this article for more information.
Scheduler Widgets
To get a glimpse at the overall Schedules and their statuses, there is an icon at the top far right of the page that will open a widget view. See more information on the widgets here.
Scheduler Event Shadowing
Event Shadowing allows documents such as checklists to be automatically attached to a Dispatch launched from a schedule in a cascading fashion depending on the current interval of the schedule. See more information in this article.
Ability to Suspend and Resume Schedules
Suspending a schedule is used for example; over a holiday when you want to halt the schedule for any amount of time and will resume the schedule when you are back from shutdown. You do have to select to resume the schedule when you return though. Click here for more information.
