You've heard that you should avoid Monday and Friday products, haven't you? Of course, we all have. Who in their right mind schedules a meeting first thing on Monday morning or at the end of the day on Friday? Many of us humans are not fully re-engaged in the necessary work frame of mind early on Monday mornings. And many of us mere mortals might be slightly checked out of work mode by 4 o'clock on Friday afternoon.
So, being the keen observer of human nature that you are, and being the outstanding planner that you are, you want to avoid Mondays and Fridays for projects where you want folks fully engaged. So, how should you go about that?
Here's one way. Use this as a template and modify it according to your scheduling needs:
Build a Scheduled Event with Fixed Interval schedule with the Interval Type of Calendar - Monthly, the Occurrence Type of Monthly, and the Day as the Day of the Week. Then choose Tuesday, Wednesday, or say, Thursday. Select Thursday in the calendar when you set up the launch date. The Scheduler will then launch this event on whichever Thursday you choose each month. Just be careful specifying the last Tuesday, Wednesday, or whatever weekday of the month. Not all months have the same number of full calendar weeks, so avoid the last weekday.
The screenshot below shows you how this should look. Now, schedule away and let us know if you have any questions.
