The Combination Drill Down Report is a tool that can be used to compare a variety of data. You can choose from Areas, Lines, Machines, Tooling, Dispatch Types, Value Streams, Actions, Components, Technologies, Trades, Reasons, or Cost Centers. You can also filter down by specific Machines and/ or Dispatch Types to get a downtime measurement or compare the number of Actions that were taken on a certain Line.
The bar graph charts the data for comparison, while the line graph zeroes in on a particular bar on the graph over a given timespan and charted daily or weekly.
In the report below, I've selected a few assets as well as one Dispatch Type, so that I can compare the assets downtime for a timeframe of 'Month to Date'. This report also shows me the downtime minutes on a given asset from week to week by hovering over the bar(asset) I want to view. How does it compare from week to week? Note: You can view this same report with # of occurrences instead of minutes. You could also view a timeframe on a daily basis instead of weekly.
In this report, I've selected a few Lines to compare the Actions taken across those lines during a 'Month to Date' timeframe. Notice in this report, it's counting the number of times the action was taken instead of the minutes.
You can click into the bar to drill down to the next level. It looks like Press 16 had 2 things replaced during that timeframe.
NOTE: You may see a different number of dispatches on this report than if you filter on the dispatch screen. The reason behind this is this report only shows dispatches that are marked as "started." Some dispatch types may have "Start Downtime when Resource is dispatched" set to True, meaning they won't appear in the drilldown until the resource is dispatched. For more accurate information you can use the Dispatch History report using filters as this report WILL match the dispatch screen since they can filter on created during timeframe and it’s not dependent on the started status
