L2L has revamped the way to complete a checklist, making it more user-friendly and mobile-friendly! Making these changes will allow for Accelerated New-Employee Onboarding, decrease the time to complete checklists, increase the accuracy of checklist tasks, and increase the completion rate of checklists.
Checklist Requirements
Depending on the checklist configuration, you may need to confirm your identity before you can begin answering questions.
>
To start, you will now see that the Checklist Requirements are defaulted to hidden; you can choose 'Show Section" to view/or edit details.
Checklist Task Types
When using yes/no or drop-down select for user answers, you will now see a tabular view, and the answer will be highlighted in black.
When using Numeric Input, such as control/reject limits, you will see if the answer is within the control limits, the box will be highlighted in green, and if it falls within the reject limits, it will be highlighted in red.
If you choose to use the checkbox answer option, you will now see the checkbox. This answer will be listed as 'Mark as Done' or highlighted 'Done' when completed.
If you have a question that is a table or a dynamic table that allows you to add columns or rows, you will now see the option to Add another or Delete Row.
You have the option to enable the ability to attach a photo, video, or file to each task on the template and even require the attachment if desired. If required, the attachment button will show red when filling out the checklist, and if not required, it will show grey. Attachments cannot exceed 100mb.
When you are finished with your checklist, you will now see the options to either Mark Closed Or Exit listed below. However, if you click on the 3 dots, you will see the option to Print or Save and Exit.

AutoSave Functionality
Some checklists require identity confirmation before you can answer the first question. When this is enabled, an Authenticate before you begin prompt appears when the checklist opens. Depending on your site configuration, you must either authenticate using username and password or select Authenticate with SSO to continue.
With autosave turned on, the system will save changes right away whenever a checklist is updated. For checklists that require identity confirmation, the authentication step records who completed the checklist, does not log you out of the system, and enables autosave so your work is preserved while you complete the checklist.
Note: If you open another tab to the same checklist, you will see a pop-up.
For a new checklist that’s opened, completed, and closed by the same person in the same session, the user should only have to authenticate once in the beginning. After this, they can make updates and mark the checklist closed without needing to enter their credentials again, unless they navigate away from the checklist or click the "Finish Editing" option, which is designed for checklists being filled out by multiple users, as this will then prompt another user to enter their credentials to make their own changes.
If a user ignores, closes, or cancels out the credentials prompt instead of entering their information, each time an update is made, the system will continue to prompt them to input the required credentials, since this is needed to save the updates.
If more than one operator is working on a single checklist, the “Finish Editing” button allows a user to finish their part and save. After this, the system will then ask for the other team member's credentials to continue editing the checklist, ensuring each person’s contributions are digitally signed and tracked.
Also, with autosave functionality, if you have a question that launches a follow-up dispatch, you will be given a warning that this will launch a dispatch and have the opportunity to change that before it launches.
NOTE: You have to enable this setting in the document settings for the warning to show.
