User Sounds Overview

Sounds can be used for a variety of reasons within L2L:

  • New Unassigned Dispatches on Critical Machine.
  • Unassigned Dispatches on Critical Machine.
  • New Unassigned Dispatches.
  • Unassigned Dispatches.
  • New Spare Request in Queue.

Prerequisites & Preparation

Every user has access to User Sounds.

Step-by-Step Configuration for User Sounds

  1. Select the User Settings button (down arrow to the right of your name) at the top left of the page.
  2. From the flyout menu, select Sounds.
  3. On the Sounds page, make your selections using the drop-downs.
  4. Select Save at the bottom of the page.

Select the User Settings button (down arrow) to the right of your name then select Sounds from the flyout menu.

Sound Settings Overview

Administrators have the ability to add and maintain Sounds in Setup -> Sounds. Β Sounds must be saved in an MP3 Format in order to import.

Prerequisites & Preparation

Only Administrators have access to Sounds Settings.

Step-by-Step Configuration for Sounds Settings

To Add a new sound:

  1. Select Setup on the left-hand menu
  2. Under System Setup, select Sounds.
  3. Select Add New at the top right of the page.
  4. Select Choose File.
  5. Select the MP3 file from your device that you wish to import.
  6. Select Upload File.
  7. Enter a File Description.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Each sound can be previewed by selecting the "Play" Button.

To Delete a sound:

  1. Select Setup on the left-hand menu
  2. Under System Setup, select Sounds.
  3. Select the sound you want to delete
  4. On the Sound Detail page, select Delete.

FAQs

  • In order to import a sound file, it must be in MP3 format.
