Dispatch type not showing up in your Operator Portal?

You're ready to create a Dispatch, but the Dispatch Type you're looking for isn't in the list. What happened?

Go to Setup > Dispatch Types to control which types appear in the Operator Portal. You'll need the appropriate System Manager or Administrator access to enable or disable these settings.

Why hide Dispatch Types?

Your associates should be able to find the right Dispatch Type quickly, without scrolling through every option. Limiting the list to what's relevant for each Operator Portal makes that possible. For example:

• If an Operator Portal serves only assembly, you probably don't need "Executive Washroom Audits."

• If an Operator Portal serves the interior of a department, "Landscaping" doesn't belong.

Instead, make it easy for associates to find the types that fit their work area, the processes on their line or cell, and Operator-level needs such as Operator Fixes and Micro-Stoppages.
