The Pitch Record can be found on the Operator Portal and is the user interface many use daily.
Clicking into the 'Pitch' will give you the ability to add pitch information manually. It also shows you who created the Pitch, as well as when it was last updated and by whom.
As your site begins to use more functionality, you may start to see Scrap Categories. You may also start using Product Orders, which defaults the 'Product' in the Edit Pitch Details to the Product that is currently running, meaning you don't have to select it. Note: The 'Add Scrap' button will automatically save the scrap. If you don't make any other changes on this page, you can simply hit cancel. You can also use the + and - buttons to increment and decrement scrap of the same category. Check out this video on capturing scrap data in real-time on the operator portal.
You can enter comments/countermeasures for the pitch from this modal. Oftentimes, a comment is required if the actual is less than the demand.
Lastly, the buttons on the bottom:
- 'Save' will prompt the pitch record to save. Note: If no actual is present, the system will prompt you to add one.
- 'Cancel' if you don't change anything in the screen or want to save the pitch.
- 'Inactivate' will change the pitch from Active = True to Active = False. This will remove the pitch from being included in Production metrics.
- 'Changeover' will end the current pitch where it is and changeover to the new product order.
If you have pitch details sent via the pitchdetails/record_details API, you cannot manually edit any of the details that have been sent via the API (scrap, demand, operator count, actual) from this Pitch Record. The Production Setting 'Allow operators to adjust the built quantity for an order when the actual data is supplied via the API' is enabled allows operators to adjust the Pitch Record Details. To see the actual details for the Pitch, click into the pitch and then select 'Details'. This will bring up a new screen with the details for each API call for that Pitch. The Operator Portal shows you the sum of all of the pitch details for that given Pitch, while the Pitch Details view breaks it down into each API call made for that Pitch.
In the screenshot above, you'll see three API calls were made to update that Pitch Record. If you click into one of those 'Pitch Details' you'll be able to edit information and see who updated it and when. In most instances, the username associated will have some form of API in it.
