Syncing your Sandbox and Live Site data

We're often asked whether it's possible to "sync" or match the data between a Sandbox and Live Site (or vice versa). While there isn't a way to fully sync the two environments, many configuration items can be updated via export/import.

Items That Can Be Imported

  • Bill of Materials Machines

  • Line Cycle Time Load — L2L Support only; customers cannot self-upload this file and should submit it to L2L Support for processing.

  • Line Load

  • Full Data (Area-Line-Machine) Load

  • Products Load — L2L Support only; customers cannot self-upload this file and should submit it to L2L Support for processing.

  • Product Orders — Customer-loadable.

  • Reason Code Load

  • Spares Full Sync — Customer-loadable.

  • Tooling Load — Before importing, ensure all referenced machine codes already exist in the system. The Current Status ID field must contain numeric ID values, not status names (e.g., use the numeric ID rather than "Idle" or "In Use").

How to Import

Once you've exported the information into Excel files, reach out to Customer Support with the files and specify which site you'd like them imported to.
