Syncing your Sandbox and Live Site data

We often get asked can we 'sync' or match the data in our Sandbox to our Live Site or vice versa.

While we don’t have a way to fully “sync” the Sandbox and Live Site, we can update many configuration items via export/import. We can import anything listed here: 

  • Action Code Load

  • Area Load

  • Attribute Load

  • Bill of Materials Machines 

  • Component Codes

  • Cost Centers 

  • Defect Types Load

  • Dispatch Type Load

  • Event Schedule Load

  • Line Cycle Time Load - L2L Support only. Customers cannot self-upload this file; submit to L2L Support for processing.

  • Line Load

  • Machine Load

  • Manufacturer Load

  • Full Data (Area-Line-Machine) Load

  • Products Load - L2L Support only. Customers cannot self-upload this file; submit to L2L Support for processing.

  • Product Orders (Customer can Load)

  • Tooling Load - Before importing, ensure all referenced machine codes already exist in the system. The Current Status ID field must contain numeric ID values, not status names (e.g., use the numeric ID instead of 'Idle' or 'In Use').

Once you have exported that information into the excel files, you can reach out to Customer Support and provide the files and which site you would like these imported to.
