Understanding Change Log and Audit History in L2L
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Overview
L2L provides some visibility into when settings and records have been changed and by whom, but the scope of this functionality has important limitations to be aware of.
Per-Object Change History
L2L tracks change history at the individual object level. For many objects, you can view a change history at the bottom of the object's detail screen in the UI. This allows you to see who made a change and when it occurred for that specific record.
However, the system does not capture a detailed log of the specific values that were modified in all cases — visibility into what exactly changed (old value vs. new value) may vary depending on the type of record.
No Global/Aggregate Change Log
At this time, L2L does not offer a global or system-wide aggregate view that consolidates all setting changes across your organization in one place. Change histories are only accessible on a per-object basis within the UI.
If you need to investigate a specific change and cannot locate it yourself, please contact L2L Support with details such as the affected setting, location/site, and approximate date — and the support team may be able to look up the history on your behalf.
Need Help Tracking a Specific Change?
If you need to identify who changed a specific setting and when, please reach out to L2L Support with as much detail as possible (e.g., the setting name, site/location, and approximate timeframe). The support team can investigate site history to help identify the change.
