There is a setting, Set Individual pitches red if the actual exceeds the Maximum Quantity Produced Per Pitch Setting in the Line Cycle Time
, in the Production Settings. If this setting is enabled, the Pitch Actuals will be turned red after exceeding the Maximum Quantity Produced Per Pitch
(maximum possible stated) value defined in the Line Cycle Time. This setting takes priority and supersedes the thresholds that would ordinarily dictate those colors. This will make the coloring a bit less intuitive, because exceeding the maximum possible numbers can turn the Pitch Actual red when it would have been yellow or green otherwise.
There is also a setting Individual Pitch Thresholds
on the Line settings screen. This is the only one that applies to the Pitch Actuals column. The PEFF Thresholds
and TEFF %
affect other areas like the weekly summary at the top of the operator portal, but not the Pitch Actuals column. When changing the Individual Pitch Threshold basis
on the Production Settings screen, it only changes the calculation used to compare against the Individual Pitch Threshold
. It does not switch which threshold setting to use for coloring.
If you've selected TEFF for your calculation of the Pitch Actual column, and you are displaying the Target Quantity column; you may see some discrepancies. The Target Column will remove downtime from the calculation while the Pitch Actual column does not remove the downtime when coloring the pitch. For example, if you have a 60-minute pitch in which you can build 35 parts (TEFF, Cycle time of 101.53) but then have 15 minutes of downtime; the Target column will display 27. If you build 27, the Pitch Actual column will display 27 but may be red because your Line Threshold is at 95% and the calculation actual / theoretical
is 27/35 = 77%
which is below 95.
