Why?
We hear you - not all users have a work email, and not everyone wants to use their personal phone number to access a work system. The Swipeguide platform requires an email or phone number to login, however, if you are using Dispatch as well, we have an integrated solution that allows you to login to Swipeguide using your Dispatch username and password.
How:
- First Login to Dispatch using your username and password.
- For Smart Skills go to the smart skills browser link smartskills.swipeguide.com/platform-selector
- Click Sign in with Dispatch
- It will automatically log you in to your Skills profile.
- If you user doesn't exist in Swipeguide; we'll automatically create a user on the platform using your username from Dispatch. These users will be added to the Default Team in Swipeguide. (Admins can move them to different teams).
For Guides Admins and Editors
- Go to your platform url company.Swipeguide.com/admin
- click Sign in with Dispatch
- If you've already had an account created for you using the same email, logging in with the Dispatch SSO will link your accounts. If you don't have a login for SG already, Dispatch SSO will create an account for you and an Admin will need to change your permissions and teams.
**Once you have created the Smart Skills account by logging in the first time; you can go right to the Smart Skills browser link to log in. It will pull up the Dispatch login for your username and password.
FAQs and Troubleshooting:
Swipeguide customers are unable to use an SSO login on that platform when the Dispatch SSO is in place.
First time logging into Dispatch? Don't have a username yet? No Problem.
We can import a list of users with a temporary password for you. Upon login the user will need to reset their password (for security). After you've logged into Dispatch ONE TIME, you no longer need to go to Dispatch to login to Smart Skills; you can simply go to your smart skills browser and pull up 'Sign in with Dispatch'; then use your dispatch username and password.
If you're already logged into dispatch, clicking 'sign in with dispatch', should automatically log you in.
