- SMS Email Address. Note: An SMS email address is formatted like a regular email address, but uses a cell phone number. For example, if your cell phone number was 555-555-5555 and your mobile carrier was Verizon, your SMS email address would be 5555555555@vzwpix.com. More information on that here.
- User Group is a drop-down with system standard options: Resource, User, Administrator. For more information on the difference between these please see this page. NOTE: You can assign someone as a Resource and choose not to select a Resource Site. This is useful for Dispatch view access without the ability to Dispatch themselves.
- If your company only has one site, you’ll find that one in the dropdown. If your company has more than one site using L2L, you can give access to those here.
- Resource Sites: This drop-down allows you to be dispatched to the sites selected. Again, you’ll find one or many sites to choose from depending on your company’s L2L usage.
- Resource Rate is available in a drop-down.
- Resource Category is also a dropdown.
- Add additional display information here. (optional)
- Trade defined.
- User Roles is a function for setting up the roles Users may take on a production line. These then can be used in the Skills Module for grouping of skill requirements on the production lines. You can set these up under Setup>User Roles.
- User Lines are the lines the resource is available to be dispatched to.
- User Authorization groups define where the user has access within the system. For more information on authorization groups please see this page. Note: You won’t see this field unless you are an Administrator.
- Choose the shift.
- Select a preferred language. L2L uses CrowdIn as our translation database. For more information on helping us translate L2L to your language please see this page.
- Click ‘Save’.
- Note: Adding User Photos: Images of Users may only be added after the User is created. When adding a new User click 'Save' then return to the User to add his or her image.
PRO-TIP: If you receive an error that says "user already exists" but you cannot see why, try filtering by inactive or all and search again.
User Export:
We now have the option to export just site users as well as global users. When exporting the Site Export you will see the Trade and Shift included.
