Often we are asked how to display more information on TVs mounted above lines and areas. There may not be budget or space to add additional computers and screens. Fortunately, there are browser plugins that can help.
These browser plugins rotate through all open tabs in a browser every few seconds. Unfortunately, there isn't an extension available for Internet Explorer.
Chrome: Revolver - Tabs
Add to Chrome
This is perhaps the best plugin to rotate tabs. You can customize the time to view each tab, set it to start automatically, set it to reload each tab when it is activated, etc. Just install it from the Chrome Web Store, then click the icon next to the address bar to enable, and right-click the icon and select "options" to customize.
Firefox: Tab Rotator
Add to Firefox
This is similar to the Chrome Revolver plugin, but without the customization options of each individual tab. You can choose the amount of time each tab is shown, and to reload the tab when it is activated.
Additional Information
You can automatically launch a browser with multiple tabs logged into dispatch pages when a computer starts. See our article "How To Automatically Log In To A Dispatch Screen" for more information.
