SwipeGuide: Creating Sign-off

Learn how to create Sign-off to track performance data provided directly from the workforce.

 

 

Create Sign-off

  1. Click "Sign-offs" under "Guides" in the platform's main menu.
  2. Click "+" to create a new Sign-off.
  3. Choose a Sign-off template or start without a template.
  4. Preview the Sign-off to see its appearance as an end-user.
  5. Click "NEXT" to choose the template.
  6. Enter a name for the Sign-off to be easily found.
  7. Edit the main question and/or add a follow-up question if needed.
  8. Save the Sign-off as a draft for future revisions.

Edit & activate a Sign-off

Note: Once activated, the Sign-off can’t be edited anymore since it is one step away from being used by end-users to record data on the shop floor, which requires a fixed format.

  1. Search for the Sign-off you want to set up.
  2. Click "Edit" to make changes related to the question, answer type, or follow-up question.
  3. Click "Settings" to set up the frequency of showing the Sign-off on Instructions.
  4. Choose how often the Sign-off should be shown on all Instructions it will be applied to.
  5. Save the Sign-off creation and click "ACTIVATE" to finalize the creation.

Apply Sign-off on one or multiple instructions

Note: You can only have 1 Sign-off applied per Instruction. A warning screen will let you know that a Sign-off has been applied already.

 

Apply 1 Sign-Off to all Instructions at once

  1. 1. Go to an existing guide and click on the Guide menu
  2. Click "Apply sign-off"
  3. Select the Sign-Off you want to apply to this Guide,
  4. Preview the question,
  5. and click "APPLY".

Note: You can always change the visibility of Sign-Offs on each Instruction when you don’t want a Sign-Off to be visible on a specific Instruction or when you want a different Sign-Off to appear on an Instruction.

 

Apply 1 Sign-Off to a specific Instruction

1. Go to an existing Guide

2. Click on the 3 dots menu on one of your instruction

3. Click "Apply sign-off"

4. Select which Sign-Off you want to make visible on this specific Instruction

Note: You can preview the Sign-Off to make sure it has the right question for this use-case.

5. Click “APPLY” to make it visible for end-users Note: Your Sign-off will only be visible to end-user once the Guide is published.
