Feature Request - Handling of Overlapping Shifts

We are requesting a feature to handle overlapping shifts.  As it stands, we have a 1-hour overlap between our shifts, where the afternoon shift comes in an hour before the morning shift leaves to do a passover.  Depending on how a shift ran, the current production orders, additional orders that have come in, and the line availability/maintenance condition, what lines are run on which shifts are constantly changing.  Due to this, the incoming shift may wait to take over a line that is running a critical product, or may start up a different line, to start production sooner.  We'd like the ability to have a schedule period that can be assigned to either the morning or afternoon shift, that the operator can select/modify in the Operator Portal, during the shift, to reflect which shift the production and delays should be attached to.
