Feature Request - Checklist Gifs and Videos
Optimizing L2L Built checklists to include larger files sizes for GIFs and also add videos or display video from URL.
1) Optimize checklists for larger image and gif sizes: Currently, when we add larger gifs that are larger in size and overall length, there is excessive load time and a slight bit of lag. We are trying to leverage the image feature in checklist questions and have found that GIFS take a long time to load and begin playing if they're bigger than 5mb. I think it gets worse when you have multiple gifs on one checklist. Currently, checklist questions allow users to attach images, documents, and videos to checklists, up to 20MB. I think it would be good if we can create checklist questions where the pre-attached images can also be up to 20mb each with relatively low load time.
2) Video Support: As stated above, users filling out a checklist can attach a video/photo/or document so long as it's 20mb or less, so naturally to avoid the issue with load time with GIFS, our next thought is if we could utilize the checklist image/gif feature with small video files, rather than converting files ourselves from video to gif. Could it also be achieved through use of URL/embedding, to keep from having to host the video file as part of the checklist. If a checklist builder could snag a youtube video link and configure that checklist question to display the video, without leaving the checklist, as one can with an image, it would be ideal. We have tried in the past of hosting the video on a different platform and linking to it in the checklist, but doing so requires the end user to exit the checklist or otherwise use a different browser tab.
