I am utilizing the downtime pareto report with the table function. This tabulates the downtime by machine and then you can drill down by action and component. I believe that this is the information that we need to drive reliability in the plant.
Although, I need more of a total snapshot of each machine by summed actions and components (ie - cleaned - plunger 15 dispatches 2332 minutes downtime). I think it would make it a little easier to make decisions. Having to drill down takes more time than a manager would like to use.
I have made a report via excel and pivot tables that reflects this except for one thing. I need the actions and components separated from the repair comments. Since each comment is different, I can't do any summing in a pivot table that way.
After this report is reviewed, then reviewing individual machine-action-component details is warranted. Can you help? Thanks!
