You know this Technician is at work today. You saw them in the plant. Why can't you find their name to Dispatch them?
One of your Technicians is in the shop and ready to work on a dispatch. You can see them, in fact. However, you search the drop down list for Available to Dispatch. No dice. What gives?
A couple of things to check:
- Make sure the Technician is logged in to L2L
- If they also don't have the 'Dispatch Me' button when they are viewing their home screen. This could mean they haven't yet logged in to L2L.
- If your plant uses SSO or another means to log associates into both your local network and L2L, perhaps by swiping their badge as they enter through a gate or door, make sure that happened and was successful as well.
- Another item to check is to look at their account profile. Do this by going to Setup > Users > search for the Resource > click on the account link to view their profile.
- Make sure that Resource Sites is populated with at least one selection.
By hovering over the Resource Sites dropdown, you will see this helpful reminder: In order for a Resource to be Dispatched, the Resource Site(s) must be selected here.
