"Attaching" Checklists in Event Schedule Imports

If L2L Support is mass importing Event Schedules for you, you may wish to "attach" the associated Checklists to their respective Scheduled Events. Here's how you can do that currently. 

The first thing you want to do is confirm that you are using the latest version of the Import Template. This is true and best practice no matter what type of data your are importing. So, in this instance, contact L2L Support and request both the latest Checklist Import and Event Schedule Import templates. 

In Column Q on the Checklist Import Template, appropriately entitled, "External ID", enter an External ID. In this case, the External ID is the Document's External ID associated with the first item Name (Checklist Name) on the Checklist Import Template. This will be the Name as found in Row 2 of your file, as Row 1 is reserved for Column Headers. 

In Column B on the Event Schedule Import Template, you will want to enter the same External ID that you entered in Column Q on the Checklist Import Template. 

Please note: you must first add the External IDs to the Checklist Import Template to update the Checklists. This will connect the 2 External IDs. After updating the Checklists, the Event Schedules can then be uploaded. Please see the highly illustrative screenshots below.
