We're making some changes to the look of the CloudDISPATCH home screen to modernize and enhance the experience. In the coming weeks you'll notice a new look as well as the ability for Administrators to add additional 'widgets' to the screen by site. Dispatches assigned, work in progress, and previously worked on, Areas, Skills, Dispatches Reported in the last 48 hours, and Currently Open Dispatches will all still be visible.
A couple of features to point out:
Available button - The available button moved slightly and can now be found in the dark grey toolbar. Clicking on the toggle will set your availability.
You'll also notice Switch User can now be found next to the Available button. This allows you to view Dispatches assigned to other Resources. Previously, you could switch users by clicking on your name in green.
Favorites - A new feature with this release is the ability to 'star' your desired Dispatch Areas. Clicking on the star saves your selection and pushes it to the top of the Areas list. You can still click on the desired area to pull up a list of Dispatches.
Dispatch List - The Dispatch List now groups previously assigned, assigned, and work in progress Dispatches together. You can easily see the user status of each of the Dispatches as it pertains to you. You'll notice a 'play' button next to any Assigned Dispatches. Hovering over it you'll see it's the 'Dispatch Me' button and clicking on it will open the Dispatch and Dispatch you.
New Widgets: Site Administrators can now select other useful widgets to display on the home screen. Below is everything available. You can customize what you'd like to see per site. You can also add an organization image. Clicking on the square with the arrow will pull that report. When editing these widgets it may take a minute or two as well as a refresh for them to become available on the home page.
