You can set up control and reject limits for specific questions within a checklist. The reject limits can launch follow up Dispatches of a certain type and for a certain Trade.
How to Setup: This feature is only available from the document checklist feature. Once you create or edit an existing document you can select Dispatch Type and Trade under the 'Launch a Dispatch if Values exceed the Reject Limits'. This will populate the launch dispatch functionality for any questions within your checklist with control & reject limits. Update your revision control note, save and you are all set.
Filling out a Checklist or Troubleshooting why a follow up Dispatch didn't launch: In order for a Follow up Dispatch to launch from Reject Limits a few things need to be done when filling out a checklist. 1. An Area and Line with a Machine association must be selected in the form fill. 2. A value outside the reject limits must be entered. 3. The checklist must be saved and closed. 4. If your control/reject limits are invalid, you'll receive an error message and the control limits will be dropped so that a dispatch will still launch from the reject limits.
Colors:
-
When only the Reject limits are set: The background turns red if outside the reject limits and green if inside the reject limits.
-
When only the Control limits are set: The background will turn yellow if outside the control limits and green if inside the control limits.
-
When both the Reject and Control limits are set: The background turns red if outside the reject limits; yellow if between the control and reject limits; green if within the control limits.
-
When no limits are set, no color changing occurs.
