If you have associated a document checklist to your manufacturing lines or cells and intend to schedule this Checklist as Standard Work within the operator portal, be aware that if you have further associated the same document checklist with your products, product order, and/or build sequence, doing so will now add an "AND" rule to the checklist association. This document or checklist will now only launch to the lines linked AND the Line that is currently manufacturing the product or product sequence the document has been further linked to.
If your intentions are to link the document checklist to ALL products, do not further link the Document to individual or specific Products, Product Orders, and/or Build Sequences.
However, if your intention is to only complete the checklist on the linked associated Line when the line is running a specific product, adding the document link and/or association with specific products, product orders, and or build sequences, will launch the standard work checklist on the associated line it is linked with. AND only when the line is manufacturing the associated product, product order, and/or build sequence.
The ability to create product-specific documents or product and line-specific event checklists is a great method to add specific documents that are only applicable when the defined Line/Cell is specifically running the identified product.
From the Operator Portal View, you can select the product in the product view-
By selecting the Product you will now be able to see all associated documents and the source of the relation. Such as defined through a Build Sequence or Products.
If the associated documents are identified as Standard Work these will launch as normal, identified as Standard Work within the Operator Portal.
