Pro Tip: SmartPhone manufacturers recommend that you completely shut down your phone at least once a week and leave it turned off for at least one full minute prior to restarting.
When working in L2L as in any application, all functionality is not controlled by the App itself. Some functionality is controlled by your Browser Settings and how you have them configured.
If a page or function in L2L is not performing as expected, your browser settings may be the culprit. This is often the case, particularly if it was previously working as expected.
Two examples of this functionality we are all familiar with are Auto-Complete and Auto-Correct. (Think, "Dang talk to text!" and "Stupid auto-correct!") Auto-Complete software functionality gives users the option of completing words by a 'shorthand' method based on what has been typed previously. Auto-Correct tries to fix any perceived errors.
Additional examples of browser controlled functionality include:
- Page layout and appearance when viewing or printing
- Changes in font size, font color, and font type
- Distorted or exaggerated images and text
- Overlapping text and images
- Images do not fully load
- Images have a shattered glass appearance
- If your images look like a tiny postcard
