Uploading multiple documents into the Document Center is an easy process. Under STANDARD WORK / DOCUMENTS, notice the Upload Multiple Documents tab. If you are a Resource or Administrator in L2L, or if you have Admin rights in the Standard Work / Documents Module, you will see this option.
First, select a Category from the drop down list. Document Category options should already be defined. If these are not already defined for your site, a Document Center Administrator will need to create them.
After specifying a Category, select the file containing the Documents or Document Links you wish to upload. I have included a sample screenshot of what your Document Upload file might look like for your reference.
Give the file a name you can easily remember and one that you want the document to be listed as and associate with the documents you are uploading. Hit "UPLOAD" and voila! There are the documents from your file! Easy schmeezy.
Note that when you use this upload tool, it will automatically publish this document and bypass the approval process that you may have put into place for the selected category.
Please note that although L2L Support is more than happy to perform dataloads at any time, we do not have access to customers' internal document repositories. For this reason, we can import data that includes document names and document links, internal or external links, but we cannot perform document dataloads.
