Line Cycle Times
Once you have your products in the system, you will need to add Cycle Times for your Lines. Some lines may run the same cycle time for various products, in which case you can set it to default to all products. Cycle times are used to set the demand in the pitch boards and also to display the estimated order total time in the order planning screens.
The planning rate feature allows you to schedule at a rate less than that of your theoretical cycle time. For example, you may have a cycle time of 60 seconds to make one part. But you aren't able to consistently make it every time at 60 seconds due to downtime issues. If you plan at a 75% planning rate, it will set your pitch demand at 75% of your cycle time for that Product on that Line.
Maximum Quantity Produced Per Pitch
This setting allows you to populate the largest pitch detail actual you will accept on a single pitch. For example, if 100% of Theoretical is 5000 parts per hour, you could populate this field with 5500. This prevents users from entering multiple pitch actuals into one pitch detail. You will want to give them some buffer if manually capturing pitches as they may not get the reading exactly at the end of the pitch.
