This is a question we are often asked. "Hey, I'm an Admin in L2L. Why can't I see this screen in the Document Center?" and "I'm an Administrator. Why can't I perform this transaction in Spares?"
We know this can be a bit confusing. Having 'Administrator' level access in L2L is a beautiful thing! Keep this information in mind when you encounter a situation where you don't have the access or permissions you expect so you don't get frustrated.
Being an Administrator in Leading2Lean provides greater access and permissions than non-Administrators have. However, being an Admin does not necessarily or automatically mean you have Administrator level access in every L2L Module.
Think of it like this. You go into your favorite big box grocery retailer. You don't automatically think the Produce Department Manager and Meat Department Manager can cover shifts for the Customer Service Manager and Housekeeping Department Manager. While their skills undoubtedly overlap, do we want the Jewelry Department Manager slicing steaks for the big barbecue this weekend? Nope, me neither.
If you need additional access or think you should be able to perform certain actions but the pages or buttons are not visible to you, contact your Team L2L Administrator or L2L Site Champion. Many customers also have a local L2L "Help Desk".
If you already have an active Leading2Lean account, and you are currently an Administrator for your company, contact someone in your plant to discuss additional access and permissions.
