Non-Dispatch Resource Role

Overview

You can have the User Group Role of Resource but not be on the available to dispatch dropdown list.  This is particularly useful if you need to be able to access the open dispatch screen for editing dispatches or simply viewing the open dispatch screen.  We often see this setup utilized for supervisors or other support roles who work closely in the dispatch system, but are not actually dispatched resources.

How to setup:

1.  Have your administrator edit your user settings within the setup menu.

2.  Open your user account settings

3.  Select user role "Resource"

4.  Under Resource Sites leave all the sites unchecked

5.  This setup will grant you resource level access, but will exclude you from the resources to be dispatched.
