L2L Support receives requests every day to set up new individual user accounts and provide access to additional Modules. And we always have to say "NO", which is our very least favorite response.
For many of you, this is not new information. When Leading2Lean sets up new customer sites, we upload a multitude of new user accounts for employees who will use L2L as a resource to help them perform their jobs on a daily basis.
After a site goes live, L2L Support no longer sets up individual new user accounts. We also do not remotely grant additional access or rights for individual user accounts.
For security reasons, new user accounts and additional access for existing accounts are controlled and maintained at the plant level. Although we are always happy to help in whatever way we can, L2L Support has no way to verify the identity of the people making these requests.
Many of our customers have internal L2L 'Help Desks' who help field these and similar requests. Every customer location also has L2L Site Administrators as well as one or more L2L Site Champions. These local superheroes help train new L2L account holders.
