Actions Definition- Actions or actions codes are used to define the verb when completing an open dispatch. Some dispatch types require Action codes and some don't. Action codes allow you to drill deeper into dispatch reports to see the specific actions that were necessary to complete and close dispatch events.
Action and Component codes are a pre-defined list generated by your site champion. If you dont see the appropriate code or would like to have more codes added, they can be easily added or removed by your site champion/administrator.
Example 1-Â "I replaced the belt on the drive."Â Action is Replaced
Example 2-Â "We have released to product from deviation" Action is Released
Example 3- "The track needed to be re-aligned" Action is Re-aligned
Quick Tip- You can find actions quicker by by starting to type the action into the box. It will find all actions that match your entries as you are typing them in.

Component Definition- The component or component code is the noun or the object that you worked on within the dispatch. Some Dispatches require components and some don't.
Example 1-Â "I replaced the belt on the drive."Â Component is Drive
Example 2-Â "We have released to product from deviation" Component is Product
Example 3-Â "The track needed to be re-aligned"Â Component is Track
