L2L's dispatch module is a full maintenance module to help report and identify any given event that needs to be documented and addressed using a Dispatch.
Dispatch Types
The term Dispatch is often used to describe the reporting and identification of any given event that needs to be documented and addressed within the Dispatch Module. Simply put a Dispatch is the creation and documentation of many different workflows within your facility. L2L refers to these workflow events as “Dispatch Types”. Creation: Using the “Big Green Button" is the simplest way to create a new dispatch. You will find this “Big Green Button” is conveniently located in the same location regardless of the screen you may be on.
When hovering over the + New Dispatch button select the New Dispatch.
Let's review the New Dispatch - Required & Optional Details-
*Area- You will select from the dropdown the applicable area of the plant in which you wish to document and create the dispatch within.
*Line- You will select from the dropdown the applicable line of the plant in which you wish to document and create the dispatch within.
*Machine- You will select from the dropdown the applicable machine of the plant in which you wish to document and create the dispatch within.
*Dispatch Type- You will select from the dropdown the applicable dispatch type you wish to use to properly identify the new event you are creating. Be aware your site location may have many different dispatch types. Each dispatch type is created and unique to manage multiple workflows to ensure notifications and escalations are managed correctly. Additionally, each unique dispatch type has different impacts on production or machine downtime and overall production metrics. *Trade- You will select from the dropdown the applicable trade for the new dispatch that you wish to document and create. Be aware that trade may be defaulted if this is set for your site. This can be changed but a trade is required.
