Some customers are interested in being able to print specific information for labels and L2L can do so within our Dispatch, Work Orders, and Spares Modules. Now let's review the steps to accomplish this.
Note: First, you need to make sure label printing is enabled on your site, this has to be done through L2L.
Once you have Label Printing enabled you will navigate to the IT section under the Setup Menu.
- Under Label Printers, you will need to set up your printer using the IP Address. Note: You may need to communicate with your IT Department so L2L will communicate with your site printers. They can also advise you regarding the type of printed, as that is not a specification or specific L2L requirement.
- Now you will want to create your Label Templates. This is where you will customize what fields you would like included in your label.
Dispatch Printing
Once you have set up your printers and printer templates with the label printing enabled you will see a Print Ticket Option within the dispatch. Click on this and your label preview will appear.
