In order to deliver notifications to cell phones, Leading2Lean takes advantage of SMS Gateways that Mobile Carriers provide. SMS Gateways essentially convert an email to a text message.
Another way Leading2Lean delivers Dispatch notifications to mobile devices is through our mobile app. You can learn more about our mobile app by reading our L2L Mobile Application article.
An SMS Email Address is formatted just like a regular email address, only it uses a cell phone number and the SMS Gateway. For instance, if your cell phone number was "555-555-5555" and your Mobile Carrier was Verizon, your SMS Email Address would be "5555555555@vzwpix.com."
We have compiled a list of SMS Gateways for many cell phone providers. If your phone provider is not listed below, you can typically find out your SMS Gateway by performing a web search for "SMS Gateway [Mobile Carrier]."
